Information We Collect
We collect account and profile information such as your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, role, service location, saved addresses, provider business details, and verification information. We also process service listings, bookings, reviews, support requests, chat messages, uploaded media, payment and payout records, device information, notification tokens, and security logs.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts, connect customers and providers, process bookings and payments, provide customer support, send service notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, maintain financial records, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing and Service Providers
Information is shared only as needed to operate SurvHome. Booking participants receive relevant profile, service, contact, and booking details. We use service providers including hosting and email providers, Google for sign-in, Cloudinary for media, Expo for mobile notifications, and Stripe and PayPal for payments or payouts. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Payments
Payment card and PayPal credentials are entered with the selected payment provider and are not stored directly by SurvHome. We retain transaction identifiers, amounts, statuses, refunds, commissions, and payout records needed to operate the marketplace and meet accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal requirements.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account from Account > Delete account in the mobile app or use our public deletion request page. We remove sign-in credentials, personal profile data, addresses, device registrations, uploaded media references, and public content. Limited booking, payment, payout, dispute, and audit records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance, and are separated from your deleted public identity.
Security and International Processing
We use HTTPS, authenticated APIs, access controls, password hashing, monitoring, and backups to protect information. No system is completely secure. Because SurvHome and its service providers may operate in different countries, information may be processed outside your country under applicable safeguards.
Children
SurvHome is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly allow children to create customer or provider accounts. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Your Choices and Rights
You may update profile information in the app, control notification permissions in your device settings, request access or correction, and request account deletion. Rights can vary by location. We may verify your identity before completing a privacy request.
